AT A GLANCE
Bring the operating schedule and surface requirements into the first conversation.
Map the space and the schedule
List customer areas, staff-only areas, storage, and essential access routes. Share operating hours and any dates when the site is less busy. Discuss phasing or off-hours work directly rather than assuming either is included.
Describe how the surfaces are maintained
Explain cleaning routines and the wear each space receives. A public corridor and a back-office wall may have different needs. Consider a professional interior line such as ProMar 200 as a discussion point, with the final product and sheen chosen for the site.
Name the decision-maker
Identify who approves the scope, colors, access, and changes. Confirm any landlord or facility requirements before ordering materials. Keep the agreed surfaces, preparation, products, exclusions, and schedule in writing.
Plan the handover
Ask what needs to stay protected or unused while the coating develops its required properties. Request product and color records for future maintenance. Set expectations for how the finished work will be reviewed before the project begins.
